SAPTARI: A 32-year-old youth has been found brutally murdered in Pripahi, Rajgadh Rural Municipality-4 of Saptari district.

According to the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Rajkumar Khang, a resident of Dakneshwari Municipality-8. Locals discovered the body on Thursday and immediately alerted the police.

DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet stated that a police team was swiftly deployed to the site after receiving the information.

The body has been sent to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj for a postmortem examination. A special team, including trained sniffer dogs from the Madhes Province Police Office, has been mobilized to assist in the investigation.

Authorities said further details will be shared following the postmortem and initial probe.
