KATHMANDU: In the ANFA U-16 Youth League match held Thursday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Machhindra Football Club defeated Sankata Club 2–1.

With this victory, Machhindra rose to third place with 17 points from 8 matches, while the defeated Sankata holds second place with 18 points.

Rahul Kumar Yonjan and Govind BK scored the goals for Machhindra.

Sankata’s Pemba Tamang scored a consolation goal.
