JHAPA: The host team, Bhadrapur Blazers, and Jhapa-11 will clash in the final for the championship of the second edition of the Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup International Invitation Knockout Football Tournament.
The match is set to take place at Mechi Stadium in Jhapa.
Bhadrapur Blazers secured their spot in the final by defeating Crown Bazar Pragati Sangh from Bangladesh, while Jhapa-11 advanced after overcoming Daga United Football Club from Bhutan.
The winner of the tournament will take home Rs 1.3 million in cash, along with a trophy and medals, while the runner-up will receive Rs 700,000, a trophy, and medals.
In addition, the best player of the tournament will earn Rs 105,000, while the top goalkeeper, highest goal scorer, emerging player, and coach will each be awarded Rs 25,000. The player of the match in each game will be given Rs 21,000.
A total of 10 teams from Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Bangladesh participated in the competition.
