KATHMANDU: Sudurpaschim Royals has given a 170 run target to Chitwan Rhinos with Chris Lynn’s spectacular half century.
In the ongoing match played under the second edition of Nepal Premier League, Sudurpaschim Royals chose batting first after losing the toss. It made 169 runs in 20 overs at the loss of four wickets.
Chris Lynn had a brilliant inning- 75 runs including three sixes and five fours in 57 balls.
The match is going on at Kirtipur-based TU International Cricket Ground.
Opener Binod Bhandari chipped in 21 runs.
Ishan Pande and Harmit Singh made one run each and Punit Mehra 13. Arif Sheikh and Deependra Singh Airi made 24 runs each.
For Chitwan Rhinos, Saif Zaib took two wickets, while George Chrism and Ranjit Kumar one wicket each.
While Sudurpaschim has not faced any defeat in the tournament, Chitwan is duress to win the match today so that it secures playoff bid.
