KATHMANDU: Church Boys United defeated Shri Bhagwati Club 4-2 at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. The defending champions secured their third victory in the league.

Apsan Gurung scored a hat-trick to lead the team, while Sushan Thapa Magar added another goal.

Anil Pariyar and Suyog Shrestha scored consolation goals for Shri Bhagwati.

With this win, Church Boys United has 10 points from 6 matches and moved up to sixth place.

Shri Bhagwati remains in 11th place with 6 points.
