KATHMANDU: The Nepali national cricket team returned home on Tuesday after participating in the Top End T20 series and several practice matches in Australia.

Officials from the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) welcomed the team at Tribhuvan International Airport.

In the 11-team Top End T20 series, Nepal was eliminated in the group stage.

Following the series, the team played five practice matches.

Nepal faced Australia’s local Capital Territory (CT) in two T20 practice matches, winning both games.

The team then played two T20 matches against South Australia, losing both.

Nepal secured a two-wicket victory in a one-day practice match against South Australia.
