KASKI: Nepal’s Shivali Gurung has reached the girls’ singles final of the ongoing ITF World Tennis Circuit-2 at Tennis Complex in the Pokhara Stadium of Kaski district.
In the tennis tournament organized by the Kaski District Tennis Association, Shivali defeated India’s Karthika Padmakumar by 6-3, 5-7 and 6-3 to secure a spot in the final.
Earlier, Shivali had won the Circuit-1 title. The Nepali tennis emerging prodigy will now face Taipei’s Ke-Chieh Hsu Hsuchi who happens to be the runner up of the Circuit-1.
