KATHMANDU: Janakpur Bolts clinched their first win of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), defeating Chitwan Rhinos by six wickets to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Chasing 177, Janakpur reached 180 for four in 17.3 overs, powered by half-centuries from openers Maaz Sadaqat and Anil Kumar Sah.
Sadaqat smashed 63 off 30 balls, while Sah added 61 off 36.
Earlier, Chitwan posted 176 for four, led by Dawid Malan’s commanding 80 and Arjun Saud’s 52.
Both sides shared key wickets, with Janakpur collecting two points as Chitwan slumped to their third loss.
