KATHMANDU: Janakpur Bolts won the toss and chose to bat against Lumbini Lions at the Kirtipur stadium in today’s Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Lumbini Lions, with six points from six matches, must win to stay in playoff contention.

If Lumbini wins, Pokhara Avengers, Chitwan Rhinos, and Janakpur will be eliminated.

If Janakpur wins, the points table will tighten since they currently have only two points from five matches and would reach four with a victory.

With one match remaining for all teams, the playoff race will intensify. Sudurpashchim Royals remain unbeaten with 12 points and have secured a spot in the first qualifier.

Kathmandu Gorkhas and Biratnagar Kings are already through to the playoffs, while Karnali Yaks have been eliminated.
