KATHMANDU: Karnali Yaks has posted a 150-run victory target before Kathmandu Gorkhas in today’s match under the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Elected to bat first after winning the toss at Tribhuvan International Cricket Stadium, Kirtipur, Karnali made 149 runs in 20 overs at the loss of seven wickets.
Gulsan Jha collected the highest 49 runs for Karnali Yaks while Pawan Saraf made 35 runs and Mark Wat made 30 runs.
Towards bowling, Kathmandu Gorkhas’ Rashid Khan took two wickets.
Karnali Yaks, under the captainship of Sompal Kami, has won a single match out of four games played so far in the NPL 2025.
Karnali Yaks is in the sixth position of the points table and is under pressure to win today’s match for the playoff race.
Similarly, Kathmandu Gorkhas has won three matches so far and has remained in the third position of the points table.
