Kathmandu Gorkhas posts 112-run victory target before Lumbini Lions

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Gorkhas has posted a 112-run victory target before Lumbini Lions in today’s eliminator match in ongoing Nepal Premier League.

Elected to bat first after winning the toss at Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kathmandu Gorkhas made 111 runs in 19.1 overs at the loss of all wickets.

For Kathmandu, Santosh Yadav gathered the highest 23 runs in 17 balls while John Simpson and Mohammad Aadil Alam 18 runs each. Similarly, Bhim Sarki and Captain Karan KC made 14 runs and nine runs respectively.

Lumbini’s Sher Malla and Captain Rohit Paudel took three wickets each. Likewise Trumplemann took two wickets and Abhishesh Gautam one wicket.
