GUWAHATI, INDIA: Under the captaincy of Anil Kumar Shah, Nepal ‘A’ cricket team will take on Assam in their opening T20 clash today in Guwahati.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the squad, featuring all-rounder Aadil Alam, batsman Sandeep Jora, along with other young and experienced players.

Although U-19 captain Bipin Sharma was not selected, in-form U-19 player Yuvraj Khatri has been given an opportunity in the ‘A’ team.

Aadil Alam, who recently returned to the national team after his suspension was lifted, will look to prove himself through the ‘A’ team.

Similarly, Pawan Sarraf, recovering from injury, has also been included in the squad.
