KATHMANDU: The friendly football match between Nepal and Hong Kong ended in a goalless draw.

Despite both teams creating several good opportunities, neither side managed to find the back of the net in the match held at the Hong Kong National Stadium in Causeway Bay.

Nepal played the friendly as part of its preparation for the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.This was Nepal’s first match against Hong Kong in 37 years.

The last encounter between the two sides was in the 1988 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, which had also ended in a goalless draw.
