HONG KONG: In Sunday’s match of the Hong Kong Super Sixes cricket tournament, Nepal was defeated by the UAE by 43 runs.
Chasing a target of 130 set by the UAE, Nepal managed only 86 runs for the loss of four wickets. Adil Alam scored 32 runs, while Sandeep Jora added an unbeaten 31.
Nepal played the full six overs but could not reach the target. Batting first after winning the toss, the UAE scored 129 runs for four wickets in their six overs.
Nilansh Keswani played a standout innings for the UAE, hitting a half-century off just 10 balls, finishing with 73 runs from 15 balls, including 10 sixes and three fours.
For Nepal, Rashid Khan took two wickets, while Lokesh Bam and Rupesh Singh claimed one wicket each.
Following this defeat, Nepal’s campaign in this season’s Hong Kong Sixes has come to an end.
Meanwhile, the UAE and Sri Lanka have advanced to the final of the Bowl League.
