Nepal national cricket team begins training in UAE ahead of West Indies series

KATHMANDU: The Nepal national cricket team, set to face the West Indies, is currently busy with practice sessions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The team, which departed for the UAE only on Monday due to visa procedures, is now fully engaged in training, according to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

Led by captain Rohitkumar Paudel, the Nepali squad includes players such as Sahab Alam and Sandeep Jora for the upcoming series against the West Indies.

For this series, the West Indies have given opportunities to some new players who performed well in the Caribbean Premier League, while resting some of their experienced players. Akil Hossain will captain the West Indies team.
