KATHMANDU: In the ICC World Cup League 2 series, Nepal has set a target of 234 runs for the UAE.
Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel scored a century to help Nepal reach 233 runs.
Losing all 10 wickets on the final ball, Nepal finished their 50-over innings at 233 runs. Batting first after winning the toss at the Dubai Academy, captain Paudel scored 109 runs, including five fours and two sixes.
For Nepal against the UAE, opener Aashif Sheikh contributed 35 runs, Aarif Sheikh 27, Dipendra Singh Airee 23, and Karan KC 13, while the other batsmen could not add significant runs.
For the UAE, Zahid Ali took four wickets, and Junaid Siddique claimed three wickets, while Muhammad Rohid and Haider Ali took one wicket each to restrict Nepal’s total.
