KATHMANDU: Under the ICC World Cup Cricket League–2 series, Nepal will face the United States on Sunday, October 26.
The Nepali team, led by captain Rohit Paudel, has already arrived in the UAE for the series.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has sent Sandeep Jora, Lokesh Bam, and Adil Alam to participate in the Hong Kong Sixes, while Bhim Sharki, Shahab Alam, and Anil Sah have been included in the squad for the League–2 matches.
The League–2 series against the UAE and the United States will take place in the UAE from October 26 to November 5.
Nepal’s first match will be against the United States on Sunday, October 26 at 11:15 a.m. (Nepal time). The second match will be against the UAE on Thursday, October 30.
Nepal will then play its third match against the U.S. on Saturday, November 1, and conclude the series with its final game against the UAE on Wednesday, November 5.
So far, Nepal has played 12 matches in the World Cup League–2 and collected 16 points, placing it seventh in the standings.
The UAE, with the same number of matches, has only 6 points and ranks eighth.The United States has already played 20 matches and stands second on the table with 28 points.
