KATHMANDU: Nepal will take on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today in the Super Six stage of the ICC T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia-Pacific Qualifier.
Nepal, the winner of Group ‘B’, secured its place against UAE, the winner of Group ‘A’. In the final Group ‘B’ match held on Friday, Nepal defeated Japan by five wickets.
Earlier, Nepal had registered a convincing 58-run victory over Kuwait in its opening group match. The Super Six clash between Nepal and UAE is scheduled for 4:15 PM on Sunday.
In this stage, Nepal will compete against UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Samoa. Nepal will face Qatar on Monday, Oman on Wednesday, and conclude its Super Six campaign against Samoa on October 17.
