KATHMANDU: National football team head coach Matt Russ has announced Nepal’s squad for two upcoming friendly matches against Bangladesh at home. On Friday, he revealed a 23-member team under the captaincy of Kiran Kumar Chemjong.
Nepal will play Bangladesh on September 6 and 9 at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwor.
These friendlies are part of Nepal’s preparations for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
Nepal is scheduled to play two qualifying matches against Vietnam on October 9 and 14.
