NPL tie-sheet made public

KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the schedule for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) today.

The T20 matches involving franchise-based teams will be held from November 17 at the Tribhuvan University (TU) International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur.

The inaugural match will be between the defending champions Janakpur Bolts and Kathmandu Gurkhas. The match is scheduled to start at 4 pm.

Eight teams are participating in the tournament, which will include two matches a day. The first match will start at 11:45 pm and the second match at 4 pm.

Out of a total of 32 matches, 23 matches including the final match on December 11 will be played under floodlights, according to the CAN.
