Nepal ‘A’ and Assam set for winner-takes-all T20 finale

GUWAHATI: The five-match T20 series between Nepal ‘A’ and Assam reaches a thrilling conclusion today in Guwahati, with both teams vying for victory in the decisive final match.

On Sunday, Nepal ‘A’ fell short by 18 runs in the fourth game, failing to secure the series with a match to spare.
Chasing Assam’s target of 175, Nepal’s batting line-up faltered, allowing the hosts to level the series 2–2.
The series has been closely contested.

Nepal lost the opener by 15 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method but rebounded strongly with wins in the second and third matches, by 96 runs and 9 runs respectively.

Assam’s fourth-match victory sets up a winner-takes-all clash today. The fifth and final match is scheduled for 5 PM (local time) on Monday.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced it will livestream the game on its official YouTube channel for fans across the globe.

Led by captain Anil Kumar Sah, Nepal ‘A’ features a mix of promising youngsters and seasoned players, including all-rounder Aadil Alam and batsman Sandeep Jora, who are expected to play key roles in today’s high-stakes encounter.
