KATHMANDU: Janakpur Bolts have received a target of 156 runs for the victory from Pokhara Avengers in today’s second match in the ongoing Second Edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Cricket Tournament.
Batting first after winning the toss, the team Pokhara Avengers made 155 runs in 20 overs with the loss of six wickets.
Sumit Burma of Pokhara made 50 runs while Dinesh Kharel made 38 and Tritaraj Das contributed 29 runs for the team.
For Janakpur, Sanjay Krishnamurti took three wickets and Captain Anil Sah and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi took one each.
Currently, Janakpur is batting against Pokhara Avengers.
Earlier today, the previous runners-up Sudurpaschim Royals defeated Lumbini Lions with seven wickets. Sudurpaschim secured their fourth consecutive win by defeating Lumbini Lions by seven wickets. Chasing a target of 144 runs set by Lumbini, Sudurpaschim achieved it in 18.2 overs with the loss of three wickets.
