KATHMANDU: Nepal thrashed Bhutan 8–0 in the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship in Dhaka.

Meena Deuwa and Purnima Rai scored hat-tricks, while Sushma Magar and Kusum Khatri added one goal each.

Nepal had earlier beaten Bhutan 6–1 and Sri Lanka twice by 7–0. Their only loss came against Bangladesh, 3–2.

To win the title, Nepal must beat Bangladesh in their final match on Monday.

Bangladesh currently leads the standings with 9 points.
