INDONESIA: Nepal is facing Chinese Taipei in today’s match in the ongoing Tri-National International Friendly Football Tournament here. The match is starting at 7:30 pm local time.

Chinese Taipei ranked 89th and Nepal ranked 42nd in the FIFA women’s ranking. Chinese Taipei that played International Women’s Championship in 1977 had won AFC Women Asian Cup in 1977, 1979 and 1981 continuously.

Nepal, which is participating in international championship since 1986, played Asian Cup but limited to group-wise matches.

Nepali team’s head coach Nabin Neupane expressed the belief the Nepali team would win the match by performing excellently.

Similarly, Captain of Nepal National Women’s Football Team, Anjila Tumbapo Subba, said the team Nepal is physically and mentally ready to win the match.

Under the series, Nepal lost to Indonesia in the first match held on November 26.
