POKHARA: A total of 20 tourist vehicles were escorted from Pokhara today toward Kathmandu and Chitwan. Out of these, 17 vehicles were headed for Kathmandu, and three were bound for Chitwan.

Additionally, an electric van carrying pilgrims returning from Muktinath was also escorted to Kathmandu. The joint operation was conducted by personnel from Armed Police Force Nepal No. 24 Kalika Battalion, Kaski, and Nepal Police.

More than 600 passengers were reported to be on board the escorted vehicles. Earlier, tourist vehicles had also been escorted from Pokhara on Sunday and Monday
