KASKI: The Annapurna Base Camp area in Annapurna Rural Municipality-11 of Kaski district has witnessed heavy snowfall.

According to locals, this is the first significant snowfall of the year at the base camp, which lies at an altitude of 4,130 meters above sea level.

The thick layer of snow has affected daily life in the area. Meanwhile, trekkers visiting the Annapurna Base Camp and surrounding regions were seen enjoying the snowfall and playing in the snow.
