Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Akita is a renowned Nepali mountaineer. She made history as the first woman in Nepal to become a mountaineering instructor and was among the first Nepali women to reach the summit of K2.
With her, a Sherpa climber from Imagine Nepal, Phurba Gyaljen, also reached the summit of Manaslu.
Pasang had climbed the Manaslu forest summit, and she repeated her climb to get to the true summit of Manaslu.
