MYAGDI: Ratnechaur in Beni Municipality-1 has transformed into a vibrant tourist destination, attracting up to 2,000 daily visitors.

Famous for its golden mustard fields and views of the 8,167-meter Dhaulagiri mountain, the village draws crowds from mid-October to mid-January.

Local entrepreneurs note that tourists rent traditional Magar, Chhetri, and Thakali ethnic costumes for Rs 200 to Rs 350 per hour for social media content, among others.

While the 388-meter-long suspension bridge to Kudule boosts trade, Ward Chair Tek Bahadur Thapa announced a major cultural festival on January 30 to further promote local heritage.
