According to the District Police Office, the current annual number has dropped to around 30,000 tourists. Police stations in Ghorepani and Darbang maintain detailed records of tourists entering and leaving the district.
Inspector Sagar Paudel, Information Officer at the District Police Office, said that in fiscal year 2024/25, at least 30,865 tourists visited Myagdi’s attractions.
According to records, 31,334 foreign tourists visited in fiscal year 2023/24, some 29,328 in fiscal year 2022/23, and 7,926 in fiscal year 2021/22.
However, neighboring Mustang district does not maintain records of tourists passing through Myagdi via its roads.
