KATHMANDU: The monsoon winds are currently affecting the entire country. The low pressure line of the monsoon is located around the average location in the east and slightly north of the average location in the west, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The weather is partly to generally cloudy across the country. The Division has stated that there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder/lightning at some places in the hilly regions of the country including Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces and a few places in the rest of the country.

There is also a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. According to the division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain/snowfall at a few places in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of the country.

Tonight, it will be partly to generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and a few places in the remaining provinces.

There is also a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain/snowfall at one or two places in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of the country, the division has stated.
