KATHMANDU; Light rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces today.

There is also a chance of light snowfall in some high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

The weather will be partly to mostly clear in the hilly regions, including Koshi Province, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear skies.

This is due to the influence of westerly winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. Fog is present in certain areas of the Tarai.
