KATHMANDU: Monsoon winds are currently active across Nepal.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, most of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing partly to generally cloudy weather, while Madhes Province remains mostly clear.

This afternoon, there is a likelihood of moderate rainfall with thunder in the hilly regions of Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.

Light to moderate rainfall has already been recorded in some areas. Tonight, hilly areas are expected to remain generally cloudy, and the Terai region will see partly cloudy skies.

One or two locations in the hilly areas of Bagmati Province may experience heavy rainfall.
