KATHMANDU: The influence of monsoon winds across the country has weakened, with only partial effects of local winds. As a result, weather conditions are expected to remain generally fair in most regions.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light cloud cover will prevail in the hilly areas on Friday afternoon, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies.

Moderate rainfall is likely in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while a few other locations may see light showers.

Similarly, tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions, including Koshi Province, while the rest of the country will have clear weather.

A few places in the hilly belt of Koshi and other provinces may receive moderate rainfall.
