KATHMANDU: There is partial influence of westerly winds across the country.

In addition, there is also a partial influence of a low-pressure system developed over the southwest Bay of Bengal.

Currently, the Department of Meteorology has reported that there is partial cloudiness in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while the weather remains mainly clear in the remaining hilly and mountainous areas.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, there is persistence of mist/fog in the Terai regions of Koshi, Madhesh and Lumbini provinces and light mist in a few other areas of the Terai.

Most areas in the Terai region will experience mist/fog until noon today. The Division has stated that there will be partial cloud cover in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces while the weather will remain mainly clear in the remaining hilly and mountainous areas this afternoon.

Some areas in the Terai region will experience mist tonight. Weather will mainly remain fair in the hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
