KATHMANDU: A western low-pressure system is currently exerting a partial influence on the weather across the country.

As of Tuesday morning, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing mostly cloudy to generally cloudy skies.

Lumbini province is partly cloudy, while the rest of Nepal is enjoying mostly clear weather, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

Light rain is also being reported in certain areas of Sudurpaschim Province. The Division has forecasted that light rain will continue in one or two places in Sudurpaschim this afternoon.

Additionally, there is a possibility of light snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces today.

The Division advised the public to take necessary precautions, as rain and snowfall may have a partial impact on daily life, health, and transportation, both on roads and in the air.
