KATHMANDU: The final of the International Women’s Football Championship will take place today at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor, with Nepal set to play Myanmar. The match is scheduled to begin at 6 pm.
Both teams earned their places in the final with strong performances in the four-nation tournament.
Myanmar finished first in the league stage with 7 points from three matches, securing two wins over Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan, and a draw with Nepal.
Similarly, Nepal also collected 7 points, with victories over Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan and a draw against Myanmar.
However, Nepal finished second due to a lower goal difference.
