KANCHANPUR: Chairperson of Ward no. 3 of Belauri Municipality Sitaram Rijal passed away last night. The 72-year-old Rijal was suffering from lung-related ailments.

Rijal’s family has said that the cremation will be held at the Aryaghat in Bhakunda, Belauri in the afternoon. Rijal was elected as the ward chair in the 2079 BS local level election. His wife Dil Kumari Rijal had passed away during the local level election.
