KATHMANDU: Nepal has registered a thrilling win in its second match of the ongoing Women’s Day Cup T20I tournament in Uganda. Nepal defeated home team Uganda by 1 wicket.
Chasing a target of 76 runs set by Uganda, Nepal achieved the target in 19.5 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Earlier, Uganda, who had won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 75 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
This is Nepal’s first win in the second match of this series. Nepal had lost to Namibia in the first match of the four-nation series that began on Saturday. Now, Nepal is scheduled to play the next match against Hong Kong on Monday.
