KATHMANDU: Nepal’s stock market is led by a diverse group of companies, reflecting the country’s evolving economic landscape. The latest rankings from the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) show that the most valuable firms by market capitalization span multiple sectors.

The top ten include two reinsurance firms, four commercial banks, a telecom provider, a trading company, an investment firm, and an insurance company. As Nepal’s financial sector matures, these firms play a crucial role in shaping market dynamics. Here is the updated list of the ten largest companies in NEPSE as of March 12, 2025.

1. Bishal Bazar Company (BBC) – NPR 213.17 billion

2. Nepal Reinsurance Company (NRIC) – NPR 175.53 billion

3. Nepal Doorsanchar Company (NTC) – NPR 164.70 billion
