KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced that the Secondary Education Examination (Grade 12) will be held as per the updated schedule, running from May 4 to May 16.

The board issued this confirmation following a resolution with the Nepal Teachers Federation, whose earlier protest had led to the postponement of the exams.

In its statement, the NEB also expressed concern over the unauthorized use of its official logo and the circulation of false information on social media. It urged students, guardians, and stakeholders to rely only on verified sources, noting that it does not maintain a Facebook page and that all official updates will be posted exclusively on its website.

The Board has appealed to examination center coordinators, teachers, staff, security forces, media, parents, and all concerned parties to complete the necessary arrangements and ensure the exams are held on the scheduled dates in a disciplined and respectful manner.
