Valley bandh called off as royalist leaders released from custody

KATHMANDU: The United People’s Movement Committee has withdrawn the valley shutdown program it had announced for today (Monday).

The committee’s coordinator, Nabaraj Subedi, informed about the decision to cancel the shutdown.

According to a statement issued by coordinator Subedi, the committee decided to withdraw the program after the leaders who were taken into custody during Sunday’s protest were released.
