PARBAT: A jeep accident occurred last night in Nepane, Phalebas Municipality-8 of Parbat district, resulting in one fatality.

The jeep (registration number Ga 1 Ja 697), which was en route from Lamaekhola to Falamkhani, overturned and plunged approximately 150 meters off the road.

According to Police Inspector Ram Prasad Sapkota of the District Police Office, 39-year-old Dol Bahadur Kshetri of Thanamaula, Phalebas-8, died during treatment at Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara after sustaining serious injuries in the accident.

Two other passengers were injured in the incident—34-year-old Bikram Sunar of Phalebas-7 and 33-year-old Suraj Sunar of Thanamaula, Phalebas-8. Both are currently undergoing treatment at Gandaki Medical College, and their condition is reported to be out of danger.

Inspector Sapkota also informed that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
