SARLAHI: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) leader Ashok Yadav has said that Madhes will eventually separate from Nepal, whether he is alive or not.

In a video message released after a warrant was issued for his arrest, the absconding former MP began by chanting “Jai Bihar, Jai Nepal, Jai Bharat” and appealed to Indian police officials not to act on Nepal Police’s request.

He claimed to be fighting for the dignity of Madhesis and for citizenship rights of women from Bihar married in Nepal.

Yadav also accused the Nepali state of racial discrimination, saying Madhesis are treated as second-class citizens.

Wanted for threatening Sarlahi’s SP Yogendra Khadka, Yadav said he is not afraid of death and alleged police misconduct by Sarlahi’s SP and DSP.
