KATHMANDU: Senior Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala and former President Bidya Devi Bhandari held a meeting on Friday morning at Bhandari’s residence.

The two leaders discussed contemporary political issues for about an hour.

During the talks, Bhandari is learned to have expressed her expectation of Koirala’s support in her reentry into UML politics. In response, Koirala assured her of his readiness to support her.

Koirala also urged Bhandari to advocate for good governance and raise her voice against corruption.

A day earlier, Koirala had met former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at the latter’s residence.
