KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) spokesperson Manish Jha has said the party supports scrapping provincial assemblies while keeping provinces intact.
Speaking in Kathmandu, he said local representatives would replace assemblies to improve coordination between provinces and local levels.
Jha added that RSP plans to cut federal ministries from 21 to 15 and dissolve old commissions.
He criticized Nepali Congress and CPN-UML leaders for criticizing opposition in the parliament and said the RSP would now teach the ruling parties how to practice real parliamentary democracy.
