LALITPUR: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has arrived at the CPN-UML headquarters in Chyasal for talks with Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli.

Oli is yet to arrive from Baluwatar.

Following Oli’s announcement to keep Bhandari’s previously renewed party membership pending, he called her for discussions.

At a Madan Bhandari Foundation event on June 28, Bhandari had announced her return to UML politics after renewing her membership a year earlier. However, Oli stated at Saturday’s politburo meeting that her membership renewal remained pending.

The meeting was scheduled for Sunday at 3 PM at the UML central office in Chyasal but was delayed by an hour before the two leaders were expected to meet.
