KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Urban Development has announced that preparations are underway to conduct the upcoming winter session of Parliament in the new Parliament building.

At a press conference held today at the Ministry, spokesperson Narayan Mainali briefed the media on major accomplishments during fiscal year 2024/25.

Machakaji Maharjan, Director General of the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, stated, “We have received instructions to ensure the winter session is held in the new Parliament building. Accordingly, we asked the contractor to revise the schedule and extend the deadline. Work is progressing as planned under close monitoring.”
