KATHMANDU: Meetings of five different parliamentary committees under the Federal Parliament are being held today.
According to the program made public, the meetings of the International Relations and Tourism Committee, the Agricultural Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, the Public Accounts Committee, the Legislative Management Committee, and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee are being held.
The International Relations and Tourism Committee has an agenda to discuss with the MPs who have registered amendments to the ‘Nepal Air Services Authority Bill, 2081’. The Agriculture Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee has a program to discuss with the MPs who have made amendments to the ‘Bill to amend certain Nepal Acts relating to land, 2082’.
The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee has a program to discuss with the stakeholders regarding the Media Council Bill, 2080.
In addition, the Accounts Committee is scheduled to hold discussions with all government secretaries in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Finance Minister. The Legislative Management Committee has a clause-wise discussion on the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081’.
The Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee has a discussion with the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
