KATHMANDU: During the National Assembly’s ongoing discussion on the “Study Report on Nepal’s Graduation from Least Developed to Developing Country, 2081 BS,” several ministers were seen sleeping.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, Youth and Sports Minister Teju Lal Chaudhary, and Defense Minister Manbir Rai were observed dozing off during the session.

Few days ago, in a House of Representatives meeting, Communications and Information Technology Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung was also caught sleeping.

When Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli called on him, Gurung did not respond, leading to widespread trolling on social media.
