RSP forms local coordination groups, collects 3.2 million signatures for Rabi Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to form ‘Local Coordination Groups’ to expand its organization below ward level.

The party’s Secretariat meeting at the central office in Banasthali made the decision to intensify grassroots mobilization.

RSP spokesperson Manish Jha informed that coordinators of these local groups will also become ward council members and municipal convention representatives.

The meeting also decided to register the party for the upcoming Rupandehi by-election.

Jha further informed that the party has collected 3.2 million signatures and received 5.6 million rupees in financial support in favor of party president Rabi Lamichhane.

The RSP central committee meeting has been scheduled for August 8 at 1 PM.
